Our architect presenting at the AA symposium!

Last week Natalie had a great chance to present her work at the AA symposium Design within Earth Systems. The whole day event covered presentations and discussions on different topics related to the terms Anthoposcene and Capitaloscene upcoming lately.

Natalie was presenting her master thesis Shifting Arctic Boundaries, devoted to the architectural decisions can be made in the confrontation between nomadic people of the arctic and the new development forced by the new oil discoveries and Northern Sea Route. She was presenting a parametric tool for negotiation between different actors in the arctic which they developed together with her colleague Penny Fyta during their study.
